Description

More than 15 eggs shipped in medicated water of this award-winning Gold Lyretail killifish. The picture is of the parent male, which is the 2nd generation product of my own selective breeding of this strain. Free starter micro worm culture, too! His parent pair placed 3rd in his class in the TAKO show last July. A. australe is among the best beginner's killifish to keep and to breed. It will thrive in ordinary dechlorinated tap water, room temperature (no heater), little filtration, and will eat any flake food and frozen foods, especially adult brine shrimp and bloodworms. Give it a dark substrate and surroundings, plenty of plants, and a minimum of a 2.5 gallon tank and watch this fish shine! Please be sure to fully cover their tank or they will leap out.
