Description

25+ eggs of epiplatys dageti Monroviae in peat. These are a beautiful, long-lived and easy mop spawning killifish. I keep a breeding pair in a bare 5 gallon aquarium with synthetic yarn spawning mops. I keep my fish at room temp which fluctuates between 68-72 degrees depending on season. Temperature does not seem to affect egg production. Unfortunately it does not seem to affect sex ratio either. Over the years I've tried manipulating the temperature to achieve a more even sex ratio, but it seems it is always male heavy. I've spoken with other hobbyists who have shared similar results. Incubation period is about 10 days. Fry are small but hardy. Free swimming fry feed on microworms and then newly hatched brine shrimp after a week or so. Growth is moderate. I cannot guarantee hatch and sex ratio of these eggs as there are too many variable outside of my control once the eggs leave my fish room. Typically dageti eggs ship very well. Shipping is $7 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. I intend to ship these eggs Monday 6/25/18 so payment(via Paypal only) is due Saturday 6/23/18 by 12pm EST.
