Description

25 aplocheilus Blockii eggs in peat. They are a mop spawner with about a 10 day incubation period. I like to maintain a small breeding group of fish(about 5 fish). I hand pick eggs from synthetic yarn spawning mops. They can be water or peat incubated. I have found eggs to be fungus resistant but fry are small. I currently move free swimming fry to a 5 gallon tank full of hornwort and naja grass. I feed microworm and vinegar eels as a first food. Growth is moderate. Adults reach about 1 1/4" and are an iridescent green with yellow and black highlighting on fins. They are very similar to epiplatys dageti in size and habits. Adults aggressively eat high quality flake, frozen brine and bloodworms and live foods. In absence of surface cover they are very shy. Shipping is $7 non-refundable on top of the winning auction bid and includes an insulated box. Payment(via Paypal only) is due by Monday 6/4/18 at 12pm EST. If payment is not received as requested I will relist the auction. The eggs will likely ship Tuesday 6/5/18. I will harvest eggs at close of auction due to short incubation period of eggs. Due to parameters outside of my control, I cannot guarantee hatch or sex ratio. My experience is that Blockii eggs ship well with good hatch rate.
