Description

This auction is for 25+ epiplatys dageti Monroviae eggs in peat. These are a great beginner mop spawning killifish. They are long lived(2-3 years at 68-70 degrees), hardy, easy to feed, spawn and raise fry. I like to keep a trio(1m and 2f) in a bare 5 gallon aquarium with a couple floating and sinking yarn mops. I hand-pick eggs and incubate in water or peat for about 10 days. Eggs are fungus resistant and fry are easily raised. I prefer microworm as a first food for the first week after free swimming. Adults accept live foods, frozen foods and high quality flake. Dageti eggs ship very well to the extent that I've never had anyone tell me they didn't get fry from shipped eggs. However, I cannot guarantee hatch due to parameters outside of my control once they leave my fishroom. That said, I will always work with the winning bidder to successfully get them some hatch. Shipping is $7(non-refundable) on top of the winning auction bid. Payment via Paypal only is due by 12pm EST on Saturday 5/26. Eggs will ship Tuesday 8/29.
