Description

Offering a 10-day spawn of 2 pairs of Spectrolebias brousseaui Los Palmares BPBV 2014-03 (Río Quimome, Chiquitos Province, Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia). You are getting a complete spawning substrate (coco peat) used in the tank while the fish were spawning. The incubation time is approximately 4 - 6 months at 24°C - 26°C. It depends on many factors such as the incubating temperature, substrate moisture, oxygenation, air pressure, breeders condition etc. In any case you have to monitor the eggs every 2 - 3 weeks picking some of them randomly from the substrate to see the developing stage. You have to check a few eggs per time since they develop differently. The spawning substrate is packed in a plastic bag and posted in a padded bubble envelope protected by rock-wool. It may take up to 10 working days before we ship the spawning substrate subject to availability. Shipping cost (tracking delivery service) depends on your destination. Please provide your address for accurate calculations. We always combine postage when possible.
