IMPORTANT: I ship to the address provided in your payment. If paying by paypal, please, please make sure that shipping address is correct before clicking the send button. Shipping days get hectic, and it's easy to miss requests to ship elsewhere. Thanks... One week's spawn from a small colony of the pretty South American Annual killifish Simpsonicthys sanatanae. Egg incubation is about 10-14 weeks.
This is a fairly diminuitive killie, typically males get 1.5" or so, that is fairly easy to keep and quite prolific. Males are pretty darn gorgeous; females pretty gray with a pair of black spots.
I start fry out on paramecium or microworms, then move up to newly hatched brine shrimp. I also usually add a bit of java moss to the hatching container to theoretically provide a continuous source of infusoria. As they grow, they will accept most frozen "meaty" foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and mysis, and will even accept some flake and small pellets. They of course relish live brine shrimp and blackworms as well.
Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. Eggs usually ship the Monday or Tuesday after payment clears to reduce risk of spending a weekend parked outside some postal sorting station. Please include $8 for Priority Mail. Multiple egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional postage.
Payment by money order or paypal.
