Description

A week's spawn from one pair of this beautiful killifish in peat. These are among the first batches I've pulled from this species, so I'm not sure what to expect as far as incubation time or quantity of eggs. There are definitely some eggs visible in the peat, but I have no idea how many. Please note: these eggs were recently picked, and their incubation time is listed as between 3 and 6 months, so under normal conditions they won't be ready to hatch for quite some time.

Pictured is an adult male of this strain, the "father" of these eggs. Females, as usual, have very little coloration or markings.

The eggs are quite large, so I would expect fry to be able to take newly hatched brine shrimp immediately. The species is generally considered to be one of those "live fast & die young" South American Annuals. Hopefully by then you will have put away some of your own eggs, so you can repeat the process 6 months down the road.

Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. Eggs usually ship the Monday or Saturday after payment clears to reduce risk of spending a weekend parked outside some postal sorting station. Please include $4 for First Class or $8 for Priority Mail. Multiple egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional postage.

Payment by money order or paypal.

Please note: I ship to the address provided in your payment. If paying by paypal, please, please make sure that shipping address is correct. Shipping days get hectic, and it's easy to miss requests to ship elsewhere. Thanks...
