Description

IMPORTANT: I ship to the address provided in your payment. If paying by paypal, please, please make sure that shipping address is correct before clicking the send button. Shipping days get hectic, and it's easy to miss requests to ship elsewhere. Thanks...

30+ eggs of this beautiful killifish were hand picked and immediately placed in peat. These do not seem quite as prolific as the Yellow version, but I would expect a dozen or so fry when hatch time comes. These eggs were recently picked, and their incubation time is usually 3-4 months.

Pictured is an adult male of this strain, from the parent generation. Females, as usual, have very little coloration or markings.

This is one of the moderate "annual" killifish to keep and breed. I start fry out on newly hatched brine shrimp. I also usually add a bit of java moss to the hatching container to theoretically provide a continuous source of infusoria. As they grow, they will accept most frozen "meaty" foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and mysis, and will even accept some flake and small pellets. They of course relish live brine shrimp and blackworms as well.

Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. Eggs usually ship the Monday or Tuesday after payment clears to reduce risk of spending a weekend parked outside some postal sorting station. Please include $3 for First Class or $8 for Priority Mail. Multiple egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional postage.

Payment by money order or paypal.
