IMPORTANT: I ship to the address provided in your payment. If paying by paypal, please, please make sure that shipping address is correct before clicking the send button. Shipping days get hectic, and it's easy to miss requests to ship elsewhere. Thanks... A week's spawn from a mature trio of this beautiful killifish, packed in peat. I check to see that there are at least some eggs in there, but I have no idea how many (eggs are somewhat sticky and peat clings to them). I normally incubate these about 8 weeks before first wetting.
Pictured is an adult male from the parent generation of this strain. Females, as usual, have very little coloration or markings.
Fry are small, and probably too small to eat newly hatched brine shrimp immediately. I start them on paramecium. and also usually add a bit of java moss to the hatching container to theoretically provide a continuous source of infusoria. As they grow, they will accept most frozen "meaty" foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and mysis, and will even accept some flake and small pellets. They of course relish live brine shrimp and blackworms as well.
Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. During mild weather, eggs usually ship the weekday after payment clears. During mild weather, I usually ship eggs within two business days of payment clearing. Please include either $2.00 for First Class or $6.00 for Priority Mail. Multiple egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional postage.
Payment: please pay by money order or paypal within 3 days of purchase. The email address that Aquabid provides in the winning bidder notice is my paypal address, so if you know your total, feel free to pay before contacting me. Otherwise, I usually send out an email within a day of auction end. If you prefer to pay by money order, the Aquabid address is again correct; please let me know when money order is in the mail. I am often looking to clear tanks to make room for the next hatch, so prompt payment is always appreciated.
