Description

This auction is for 30 eggs of Lamprichthys tanganicanus- A Lake Tanganyikan killifish. The best way to buy these fish is in egg form, as the adults do not ship well. In the past, usually 90-100% of the eggs have hatched. The fry are large upon hatching and will take BBS. I have had luck using a 2 litre soda bottle as an egg tumbler and removing fry as they hatch. These fish require hard alkaline water. This is a spectacular fish! The adults require a large tank - 20 gallons or more. I keep my colony of 6 in a 30GL tank. .
