IMPORTANT: I ship to the address provided in your payment. If paying by paypal, please, please make sure that shipping address is correct before clicking the send button. Shipping days get hectic, and it's easy to miss requests to ship elsewhere. Thanks... A week's Spawn from a trio of, Nothobranchius fuscotaeniatus Kitonga North. I check to make sure there are eggs present, but make no attempt to estimate how many. I'd expect to hatch out a dozen or more over several wettings when the time comes (anywhere from 3 to 5 months from pick date, depending primarily on storage temperature). I usually send the oldest eggs available on annual killies, but "oldest" might be several months or yesterday, so please ask if it matters to you.
Pictured is an adult the "dad" of these eggs. Females, as usual, have very little coloration or markings.
Fry are small, but can usually accept newly hatched brine shimp immediately after hatching. I also usually add a bit of java moss to the hatching container to theoretically provide a continuous source of infusoria. As they grow, they will accept most frozen "meaty" foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and mysis, and will even accept some flake and small pellets. They of course relish live brine shrimp and blackworms as well.
Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. During mild weather, eggs usually ship the weekday after payment clears. During the winter cold or summer heat, eggs usually ship the Monday after payment clears to reduce risk of spending a weekend parked outside some postal sorting station.
Shipping (pick one):
First Class (no heat pack) $2
Priority Mail (no heat pack) $6
Multiple egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional postage.
Payment: please pay by money order or paypal within 3 days of purchase. The email address that Aquabid provides in the winning bidder notice is my paypal address, so if you know your total, feel free to pay before contacting me. Otherwise, I usually send out an email within a day of auction end. If you prefer to pay by money order, the Aquabid address is again correct; please let me know when money order is in the mail. I am often looking to clear tanks to make room for the next hatch, so prompt payment is always appreciated.
