You are purchasing 2 pairs of Pearl Spotted Killifish.
This species used to be called "Aphanius mento" but has been renamed as
"Paraphanius similis". You will receive young adults or full-grown fish.
They are breeding right now.

These guys are small killifish type (2" max),
with males turning a dazzling black with iridescent blue.
These are the exceptionally nice "Zengen" locality.
They are extremely difficult to photograph. Normally, they are
dark black with bright irridescent blue but they lose
their color pretty much as soon as you put them into
a container for photos.

They come from Turkey, and their natural habitat gets pretty cold.
They can tolerate cold winters and ice, as long as the water doesn't freeze over.
