Description

Up for auction are 3 young pairs of Epiplatys dageti Monroviae, AKA the Firemouth Panchax, born and raised right here in Brooklyn. This is a perfect beginners species; they're undemanding when it comes to feeding and water conditions, easy to to breed and not too bad to look at. Young fish can grow up with their parents in heavily planted tanks or eggs can be picked from a mop. I've been using them as dither fish for dwarf cichlids. The result: some cichlid fry, but loads of baby killies. Unlike most killies, they prefer to be in groups & make great community fish, with suitable tankmates, of course. USPS Priority shipping is $20.00 with no guarantee of live arrival. Live arrival IS guaranteed with USPS Express. Please shoot me an email for a price quote. Pick-ups are always welcome.
