These guys are small killifish type (2" max),
with males turning a dazzling black with iridescent blue spots.
These are the exceptionally nice "Zengen" locality.
They are difficult to photograph, they lose their color almost immediately
after you put them in a specimen container.

They come from Turkey, and their natural habitat gets pretty cold.
They can tolerate cold winters and ice, as long as the water doesn't freeze over.
