Description

This auction includes a young pair of fundulopanchax gardneri P82, a young pair of chromaphyosemion volcanum Ekondo Titi CB3SR 2007 and a young pair of epiplatys dageti Monroviae. All of these fish are actively laying fertile eggs daily. I breed all 3 types the same way. I prefer a bare 10 gallon for each pair, but the dageti and volcanum will do well in a 5 1/2 as well. Mine are kept in hard Lake Erie tap water at room temperature which fluctuates between 65 and 70 degrees depending on the season. I place a couple floating yarn mops and a couple sinking yarn mops in each tank. These fish are actively eating Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms and live black worms. When I would like to raise some fry I hand pick eggs from the mops and place them in a margarine container with a drop of methylene blue. The container is kept in a dark place. The volcanum and dageti eggs hatch in about 14 days. The Gardneri eggs hatch in about 21 days. I like to start my fry out on micro worms or vinegar eels and then move them onto newly hatched brine as they gain some size. If you win this auction and would like a micro worm or vinegar eel starter culture just let me know and I will include one or both at no charge. Shipping is $15 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. This auction will ship Monday 9/9/19. Payment is requested at the close of auction on Sunday 9/8/19. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.
