Description

1 young reverse trio of chromaphyosemion volcanum Ekondo Titi CB3SR 2007/21. Adult male pictured is one of the males included in this auction. The fish you will receive are actively spawning. These are a nice strain of volcanum. They are hardy and long lived. I keep mine in hard Lake Erie tap water at room temperature which fluctuates between 68 and 72 degrees depending on the season. I use a bare tank with a couple sinking and a couple floating yarn mops. They are fine in a 5 gallon tank but I prefer a 10 gallon. I feed mine Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, live baby brine shrimp and live black worms. I hand pick eggs and water incubate in a separate container kept in the dark. Incubation is about 14 days. I feed free swimming fry microworms or vinegar eels for the first several days and then live baby brine shrimp. Growth is steady but not rapid. I've also successfully incubated eggs in peat. The eggs ship well. If you win this auction and need a microworm or vinegar eel starter culture as part of this auction just let me know and I will include one or both for you at no charge. This auction will ship Saturday 8/24 so payment is due at the close of auction on Friday 8/23. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.
