Description

2 young pairs of chromaphyosemion volcanum Ekondo Titi CB3SR 2007/21. These are a mop spawner. They do well in my hard Lake Erie tap water. I keep a couple pairs in a bare 5 or 10 gallon between 68-72 degrees depending on the season. I place a couple sinking yarn mops and a couple floating yarn mops with them. Temperature does not seem to affect egg production. I like to water incubate eggs. But you can incubate in peat as well. Eggs hatch in about 14 days. Free swimming fry will eat microworms and then within a few days, newly hatched brine shrimp. Growth is moderate and sex ratio is about even. As adults males are beautifully colored with fin extensions. Females have dark horizontal bars. My adults eat Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, chopped frozen bloodworms and occasionally live white worms. Shipping is $15 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. This auction will ship Wednesday 4/10. As such, payment is requested at the close of the auction on Tuesday 4/9. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction.
