Description

One male and one female of this award-winning Gold Lyretail killifish. The fish pictured is the male parent. He placed 3rd in his class in the TAKO show last July. A. australe is among the best beginner's killifish to keep and to breed. It will thrive in ordinary dechlorinated tap water, room temperature (no heater), little filtration, and will eat any flake food and frozen foods, especially adult brine shrimp and bloodworms. Give them a dark substrate and surroundings, plenty of plants, and a minimum of a 2.5 gallon tank and watch this fish shine! Please be sure to fully cover their tank or they will leap out. A second pair may be purchased at the auction win price. Shipping only within the USA; Priority Mail with tracking is $19 plus $2 for each additional pair.
