Description

This auction is for a young breeding group of aphanius mento Ereli Konya Turkey. I believe there are 3 males and 3 females. They started laying eggs over the summer and have been active since. In breeding coloration the males are stunning. Dark blue to black with white dots. They thrive in my hard Lake Erie tap water. I keep mine at about 68 degrees. Several degrees cooler in winter. They are mop spawners with the males establishing a territory. They coax females into their territory to spawn. A small number of eggs are laid daily. Eggs can be hand picked and water incubated or the entire spawning mop can be removed and incubated in a separate container. Incubation is fast. 5-8 days. Free swimming fry eat baby brine. I feed my adults Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. Shipping is $15 non-refundable. This auction will ship Wednesday 10/3 so payment is requested by the end of the day Tuesday 10/2. If payment is not received as requested,I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.
