Description

One male and one female of this award-winning strain of Gardneri (placed 3rd in Class 6 at TAKO in July -- scored 93/100 points). This is an excellent choice for a first-time killifish keeper: likes ordinary dechlorinated tap water, room temp (no heaters needed), slight filtration, eats anything (flake, pellet, frozen foods), is very colorful, is large (grows to almost 3 inches!), swims every level of the tank, is not shy but friendly, and lives well with other killies in a community tank. Downside is you must cover the tank or it will leap. This is NOT a Barbie, it is a GI Joe! Give them a dark substrate, dark background, plenty of plants, and they breed themselves -- fry appear in my Gardneri tanks at will! Now shipping within the USA only using USPS Priority Mail ($18 plus $2 for each extra pair up to 3 pairs), or USPS Express Mail ($49 and your fish are guaranteed to arrive alive or your fish money will be refunded).
