Description

1 young pair of fundulopanchax gardneri Misaje and 1 young pair of chromaphyosemion volcanum Ekondo Titi. I maintain both of these fish the same. A breeding pair in a bare 5 gallon aquarium with several yarn spawning mops. I have hard Lake Erie tap water. I don't use heaters so my water fluctuates between 68-72 depending on season. Adults eat Tetramin flake, Ken's earthworm flake, frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. I hand pick eggs and water incubate. You can incubate in peat as well. Incubation period for the gardneri is about 21 days and for the volcanums about 14. These are nice beginner killifish. I do not recommend keeping these two fish together. The gardneri are faster growing, larger and more aggressive than the more peaceful volcanums. Free swimming fry will eat microworms and baby brine shrimp. Shipping is $15.00 non-refundable on top of the winning auction bid. This auction will ship Friday 9/14/18. So payment is requested by 8am that day so I can package your fish.
