Description

1 young pair of fundulopanchax gardneri Innidere gold(pictured) and 1 young pair of chromaphysemion volcanum Ekondo Titi. I maintain both fish in the same manner. A breeding pair in a bare 5 gallon aquarium with several yarn spawning mops. I don't use heaters so my water fluctuates between 68-72 depending on the season. Adults eat Tetramin flake, Ken's earthworm flake, frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. I hand pick eggs and water incubate. You can incubate in peat as well. The difference between the two fish from a breeding perspective is that volcanum incubation is about 14 days and the Innidere are about 21. My water is hard Lake Erie tap water. Newly hatched fry will eat microworms and baby brine shrimp. I do not recommend trying to maintain these two fish together. The Innidere are faster growing, larger and more aggressive than the volcanums and will highly stress the much more peaceful volcanums. I consider both fish to be good beginner killifish. Shipping is $15.00 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. These fish will ship Friday 9/14/18. So payment is requested by 8am that morning so I can pack your fish.
