Description

1 young reverse trio aphyosemion striatum Cape Esterias. A beautiful mop spawning killifish. I maintain my breeding fish in a bare 5 gallon aquarium with numerous spawning mops. I hand pick eggs which can be incubated in water or peat. I prefer to add a drop of methylene blue to my water incubated eggs. Incubation is about 14 days in water and a bit longer in peat. Fry are easily reared on microworms and then newly hatched brine shrimp. Adults eat quality flake, frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworm and anything live. Growth is moderate. They are a long lived killifish. They live over 2 years in my fish room kept between 68-72 degrees depending on the season. This is one killifish that suffers loss of longevity at higher temps in my opinion. In my fish room egg fertility runs in cycles where a week or two of low egg production is followed by a week or two of very high egg production. Shipping is $15(non-refundable) on top of the winning bid. These fish will ship Monday 7/9/18 after the 4th of July holiday. Payment(via Paypal only) is requested Saturday 7/7/18.
