Description

2 young pairs of chromaphyosemion volcanum Ekondo Titi. My photo does not do these fish justice. Moving them to a photo container quickly causes their colors to fade. I like to maintain a breeding group in a bare 5 or 10 gallon aquarium with floating and sinking synthetic yarn mops. I maintain my fish between 68-72 degrees depending on the season. I notice higher egg productivity at the higher end of the range. Another observation is that immature fish will produce a lot of infertile eggs. Be patient. As they mature the fertility rate greatly improves. My water is hard Lake Erie tap. Adults feed on high quality flake, frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms and anything live. I hand pick eggs. Eggs can be water or peat incubated. Water incubation is about 10 days. Peat incubation is a bit longer. Fry are hardy. I start mine out on microworms and then quickly graduate to newly hatched brine shrimp. Growth is fairly rapid. Shipping is $15(non-refundable) on top of the winning bid. Due to the 4th of July holiday, these fish will ship Wednesday 6/27/18. So payment(via Paypal only) is due Tuesday 6/26/18 by 12pm EST.
