Hello folks! Happy August!! This offering is for the 2 Pr's. of 3 Month old ready to spawn Fundulopanchax filamentosus "ijebu ode" you can see below. This is the first time Greg has offered these here at AquaBid and those photo's were taken this morning. Greg says- This is one of the more uncommon populations of this fish. A pretty little peat-spawner, they can be kept and bred over peat just like a Nothobranchius. Give them a bowl of peat, collect the peat every couple of weeks and let it incubate for 6 weeks. The fry hatch out ready to eat baby brine shrimp and grow very quickly. These fish are 3 months old but are ready to spawn now. Put a pair in a 1 gallon drum bowl with peat on the bottom for a low-budget breeding tank! Thank you Greg! I will also send you a bag of clean peat moss (I make Greg give me some when we offer peat spawners cuz I know he doesn't like to give it up), a magnifying glass and a Microworm culture with this offering!
