Hello folks!
Happy Fall everyone!
This offering is for a group of 7 Epiplatys lamottei! (both sexes)
This is only the second time in my life I have had this species! Normally the only Epiplatys we see regularly in the hobby are Epiplatys dageti.
The fish I have are YOUNG and Greg says these will end up being a very pretty purple fish with nice orange fins when fully grown.
They are peaceful get about 2 - 2 1/2 inches long, like their water on the warm side for a Killie (75-80 degrees) and he also says they are JUMPERS!
These fish are EASY to spawn using mops and Greg actually remembered to MAKE SOME this week so you WILL receive a brand new ready to be used mop with this offering.
I will also send you some high quality dry foods these fish will aggressively wolf down for you along with a Microworm culture and a magnifying glass.
Try these Killie's out folks! They are RARE in the hobby and they WILL become more colorful once they grow a little more. I know that cuz after Greg told me they get real nice I Googled "Epiplatys lamottei" just to make sure he wasn't fibbing to us!
