IMPORTANT: I ship to the address provided in your payment. If paying by paypal, please, please make sure that shipping address is correct before clicking the send button. Shipping days get hectic, and it's easy to miss requests to ship elsewhere. Thanks... Auction is for one nice young pair of the beautiful killifish Blue Gularis, of the Niger Delta strain. Hatched in February, they average about 1.5" long as of this writing. Additional pairs or additional females available.
Title picture is of male from preceding generation when he was about 1 year old and 6" long; top picture is of the parent generation, when they were about 5 months old and 4" long. Females as usual show lesser color or markings.
These are a fairly large killie, males gets 5 to almost 6 inches, females usually a bit smaller.
A moderately easy killifish to keep and breed: mine are in moderately hard water, temperature in the low 70s F., and eat flake, pellet, live and frozen foods (brine, bloodworms, blackworms) voraciously. Great jumpers; keep 'em covered.
Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. Fish usually ship the Monday or Tuesday after payment clears to reduce risk of spending a weekend parked outside some postal sorting station. Please include $17.00 for Priority Mail with heat pack or $45 for Express Mail. Multiple fish or egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional shipping charge.
Payment: please pay by money order or paypal within 3 days of purchase. The email address that Aquabid provides in the winning bidder notice is my paypal address, so if you know your total, feel free to pay before contacting me. Otherwise, I usually send out an email within a day of auction end. If you prefer to pay by money order, the Aquabid address is again correct; please let me know when money order is in the mail. I am often looking to clear tanks to make room for the next hatch, so prompt payment is always appreciated.
