Auction is for one nice young pair of the beautiful killifish, each about 1" long and starting to breed. One additional pair available.

Title picture is of male of this batch. These are a fairly small, rather peaceful killie, males gets maybe 2", females usually a bit smaller. Sorry for the poor picture; the fish are actually a lot more colorful, especially in a heavily planted tank. Males have a lot of metallic gold, with a muted rainbow of metallic colrs, depending upon how the light strikes them. Females are somewhat plain with two dark diagonal stripes.

One of the easier killifish to keep: mine are in moderately hard water, temperature in the low 70s F., and eat live and frozen foods (brine, bloodworms, blackworms) voraciously, and even eat flake foods when the get in feeding frenzy mode. Great jumpers; keep 'em covered. Fairly easy mop spawner.

Cold Weather Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. Fish usually ship the Monday or Tuesday after payment clears to reduce risk of spending a weekend parked outside some postal sorting station. Please include $17.00 for Priority Mail with heat pack or $45 for Express Mail. Multiple fish or egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional shipping charge.

Payment: please pay by money order or paypal within 3 days of purchase. The email address that Aquabid provides in the winning bidder notice is my paypal address, so if you know your total, feel free to pay before contacting me. Otherwise, I usually send out an email within a day of auction end. If you prefer to pay by money order, the Aquabid address is again correct; please let me know when money order is in the mail. I am often looking to clear tanks to make room for the next hatch, so prompt payment is always appreciated.
