IMPORTANT: I ship to the address provided in your payment. If paying by paypal, please, please make sure that shipping address is correct before clicking the send button. Shipping days get hectic, and it's easy to miss requests to ship elsewhere. Thanks... One nice young MALE of the beautiful killifish Blue Gularis "Loe" - a spectacular fish with deep red stripes on a sky blue body and a deeply forked trident tail. Hatched in early January, they average about 1.5" long as of this writing. Additional males available.
Title picture is of male from preceding generation when he was about 7 months old and 5" long; top picture is a male from the current batch. As you can see, they are just beginning to color up, and fins haven't started to spike yet. You get all the fun of watching him grow and bloom.
A moderately easy killifish to keep: mine are in moderately hard water, temperature in the low 70s F., and eat flake, pellet, live and frozen foods (brine, bloodworms, blackworms) voraciously. Great jumpers; keep 'em covered.
Cold Weather Shipping: I ship to US only; shipping may need to be coordinated around weather and postal holidays. Fish usually ship the Monday or Tuesday after payment clears to reduce risk of spending a weekend parked outside some postal sorting station. Please include $17.00 for Priority Mail with heat pack or $45 for Express Mail. Multiple fish or egg purchases can be shipped together for no additional shipping charge.
Payment: please pay by money order or paypal within 3 days of purchase. The email address that Aquabid provides in the winning bidder notice is my paypal address, so if you know your total, feel free to pay before contacting me. Otherwise, I usually send out an email within a day of auction end. If you prefer to pay by money order, the Aquabid address is again correct; please let me know when money order is in the mail. I am often looking to clear tanks to make room for the next hatch, so prompt payment is always appreciated.
