You are bidding on two young pairs of simpsonichthys santanae, a peat spawning east African killifish. My fish were hatched on July 12th and at two months old are now 90% of the way to being colored up and are ready to breed. A picture of a pair of 100% colored up adults is shown above. Photo credit Hristo Hristov. The story goes, I ordered 20 of these eggs, figuring maybe half would hatch and then half of those would survive to adulthood. But what happened was, 24 fry hatched from those eggs, and now I have 24 inch long sub-adults in a 10 gallon tank. Because I don't want them to pick on one another, I'm going to ship a few away as breeding pairs. They are easy to feed and are currently accepting flake food. Shipping is $10 anywhere in the continental United States and is tracked, insured, and guaranteed.
