Description

I have 2 male killifish. I'm not sure if they are the Red Killifish (Aphyosemion bivitattum) but look exactly like the picture I found on-line. Red tails with a bluish body with black very nice looking. I have never seen killies that look like these nice males. Picture posted are my pictures of them. These males grew up together and are in a 6 gal. tank. They are very peaceful and get along great. I purchased them at a fish auction in November. They have not been with any females yet. I have never had killi's before. I want to change out the fish in that tank and would like to rehome these two rare looking fish. I have them used to my harder San Diego water. I've been feeding them tropical flakes, freezed dried bloodworms but heard they like live food. I have them in a 6. gal. heated 78 degrees tank with 1 yellow shrimp and 3 microrasboras and live plants. I have a paperback book enjoy your Killifish book signed by Bruce J. Turner. It is a older book but in good conditon. The first page is signed to someone. I got this book at a auction and did not know it was signed 5/17/74.This book has a lot of nice colored pictures inside. This book will be send Media mail not with the 2 killie fish. I will incude some food freeze dried bloodworms, Small floating plants for the killies comfort when shipped. (PLEASE NOTE)I forgot that I mixed all the freezed dried bloodworms in with my tropical flakes. Those 2 foods will be mixed together. The tropical flakes are The Works from Angelsplus.com and is a mix of ten amazing flakes which will satisfy the needs of all of your fish. Noticed this morning that the top fish in picture does not look so well. Maybe stress related. Fins looked clamped but he has been this way since I got him. I may just cut the winning bid in half as I'm not sure if this one will be ok during shipment. I will bag them seperate with some floating plants.
