Your shrimp will be young, healthy, and look appealing. It is common to receive baby shrimp - they are incidentally caught and not included in the count. Typically, we try our best to catch one or two young males, two or three young females, with the rest too young to identify their gender.

Livestock is shipped in 1 & 2 liter plastic bottles placed into a USPS flat rate bag. Why? Soda/water bottles are shatter resistant and hold substantially more water, which reduces stress and water toxicity. When transitioning do so in the bottle. We keep a variety of aquarium plants and include a few pieces for the shrimp to hold onto during shipping.
