You are purchasing the entire colony shown. I originally purchased these as "Tangerine Tiger Shrimp" over a year ago and the seller sent some juvies. After watching them grow a bit, I immediately had my suspicions that they are not pure as most of them developed mottled patterns commonly found on hybrids of early generations. I moved them to my Corydoras fry raising tank to see what they truly are. From most common to least, they produced mottled, regular tiger, tangerine tiger, red tiger, and black king kong patterns. I have nothing against hybrids but I don't think sellers should sell shrimp under a named strain if their genetics has been mixed. I thought I sold/gave them all away last Spring but I found some shrimplets remaining during the summer. I thought they would not survive the heat but they managed to survive despite the water temperature reaching 94F at its peak. Extremely hardy and easy to breed. Able to survive in TDS above 200 before water changes. As of 04/01, I can spot 3 berried females. I am planning to take the tank down and every shrimp I can find will be included but there is no guarantee that the berried females will not drop their eggs during transport or already given birth if the purchase date is too far off from their gestation period. Free golf ball of unidentified moss can be included if desired. Just leave a note in the payment or message after purchase. 25 is a conservative number and minimum; I would not be surprised the colony exceeds 30. Payment is PayPal or Zelle only. Shipping is $20 via USPS Priority and insulated on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays only. DOA Policy: Only 25 shrimp are live-arrival guaranteed. If less than 25 shrimp is DOA, (purchase price/25) per shrimp will be refunded. Shipping is not refundable.
