Description

SPECIALIZING IN NEOCARIDINA SHRIMP, MEDAKA RICE FISH, & PLANTS

3 ITEM COMBO: pick your fish - pick your shrimp - pick your plant

MEDAKA (pick one):
Blue Sparkle: 4+1, to unsexable juveniles
White Super-Platinum: 4+1, to unsexable juveniles. Characterized by a head to tail fluorescent stripe on their back.
Orange: 4+1, to unsexable juveniles

Medaka start to show their sex around , and start breeding to .

Medaka have been around for hundreds of years, originating in Asia. Historically, they have been kept in bowl water-gardens. There is particular emphasis on their backs as they would be looked down upon, much like koi. Some of the strains also look great in our aquariums. For example, the platinum varieties with their extremely reflective backs, when under colored LED lighting glow in radiant colors. Our medaka are kept in aquariums and selectively bred to be the most appealing in an aquarium.

NEOCARIDINA (pick one):
Blue Dream: 6+1
Blue Dream ultra dark: 6+1
Neon Yellow golden back: 6+1
Bloody Mary: 6+1
Red Rili: 6+1
Cherry: 8+1

PLANT (pick one - if youve ordered from us previously pick two):
Narrow Leaf Anacharis
Hornwort
Red Root Floater
Giant Duckweed
Salvinia Minima
Rotala Rotundifolia green
Pearlweed
Azolla

SHIPPING:
We ship livestock in 1 & 2 liter soda bottles, placed into a USPS flat rate bag. Why? Soda bottles are shatter resistant and allow the livestock to be shipped in substantially more water. Many sellers ship livestock in a bag with only a couple ounces of water to save a dollar or two on shipping. The additional water reduces stress and water toxicity. To transition drip tank water into the bottle; then, pour the shrimp out when acclimated. If there are plants in the bottle, pick them out beforehand.

When is the safest time to order & ship? During most of the trip a package is in temperature controlled environments and relatively safe. The most vulnerable time for the package is when its out for delivery. The best days for delivery are on mild & overcast days. So - if payment is made by Sunday evening, your package is likely to ship Monday - Tuesday, and likely be delivered Wednesday - Friday. If you have unfavorable weather inform us to mark your package to be held at the post office for pickup.

Lastly, prior to receiving the package, alert your mail carrier you are expecting a perishable package and to knock on your door if you miss meeting them.

GUARANTEE:
We have the best guarantee around: If DOA, send us a picture, and a one time replacement will be sent at zero cost to you - no questions asked.
