Description

********PLEASE READ******** In this auction I will be selling 20+ Fire Red Cherry Shrimp. At a buy it now price of $60 that's $3 a piece delivered to your door for a shrimp that would cost you from $6 - $8 at your local fish store. These are home bred, healthy, beautiful and easy to care for shrimp that will make a great addition to any planted community tank or nano tank. They're easy to care for and breed just as easy. They are constant scavengers so they will also help to keep your tank clean of any uneaten food and waste. Thus providing you with crystal clear water and a healthy ecosystem for your fish and shrimp. These Fire Reds will be from completely solid red females to almost solid males as the males do not color up as well as the females. I will be shipping juvenile (0.5 - 0.75 inch) I do this for 3 different reasons...1. Younger shrimp can handle shipping better 2. Younger shrimp can acclimate to new water parameters better 3. Shrimp have a short life span of about 2 years and if I sent fully grown adults then half of their lives would already be over... Something else to know is that the older shrimp get the better they color up. So the shrimp you will receive will NOT LOOK LIKE THE ONES IN THE PICTURES however in a couple months or less they should start breeding and begin to take on their adult colors. A lot of people don't think that you can keep shrimp with fish but I have been doing it for years and so can you if you keep a few things in mind. The rule of thumb when it comes to fish is that if they can fit it in their mouth then they will eat it. However if you provide your shrimp with lots of hiding places they can survive and thrive. For that reason planted tanks and tanks with lots of hiding places are perfect. Of course you won't want to put these shrimp in a predator or cichlid tank because you will not be successful!!! Neocaridina shrimp prefer harder water and higher PH. The harder waters have a higher concentration of calcium which is vital for shrimp health. There are many products on the market today that will help you achieve these water parameters if you have soft water. Most declorinated tap water is pretty close to what they need but test your water to be sure and make adjustments accordingly. I'm not responsible for you killing your shrimp because of bad water quality. Do your research before purchasing these shrimp. *******Live Arrival Guaranteed******* I guarantee live arrival on the original 20 but not the extra shrimp. I add plenty of extras to make up for any losses. If you have DOAs I require 2 CLEAR pictures of the dead shrimp still in the ORIGINAL UNOPENED BAG within 2 hours of first delivery attempt. These rules are for both of our protection and if you're not satisfied for any reason please simply contact me and I will do my best to make sure that you are satisfied. Thank you for looking into this great offer. Don't hesitate because these will sell fast!!! Thanks again, Adam (A.C. Aquatics)
