FAQ

Q. Are there 100 shrimps inside bag?

A. Yes, I were doubt this too before I count them. Depending on their size, they may not look like 100 shrimps inside the bag (it may like just 50 shrimps). I can guarantee there are more than 100 of them. Please count them before put them in the tank, and let me know if there is any short. I will make a part refund if there is a shortage. If you saw some shrimps smaller than 1/4", that is extra, because I didn't count them.

Q. Why the shrimps are not colorful?

A. They will lose some color during the shipping. If you want them to show more color, simply use dark gravel, never use white gravel because most of them will lose color if using white gravel. From my experience, color bite etc doesn't make them more colorful, dark background will instead. You may search relevant information through internet as well.

Here is one feedback from one buyer.

I received my shipment of shrimp last week. They were lively on arrival and I was impressed with the packaging. I was a bit disappointed with their coloration - however after settling in a few days and adding a black backdrop and darker decor to the tank their colors have become much more apparent. I haven't noticed any dead loss - not one! The larger females really are quite impressive. Thanks for these awesome little critters and a smooth transaction.

Q. Why I got some small size shrimps and the shrimps I got is smaller than I expect?

A. I do have a lot of big sized shrimps, but I really don't have time to catch them on one by one base. It will take me half hour to catch 100 of them. Since I can catch 5~10 shrimps each net for 1/4 to 1/2" shrimp, that is why I sell them at this size. Some times, customer got bigger size shrimps, some times not. I catch them randomly, but I always make sure their size is bigger than 1/4". I don't take them out if the shrimps are smaller than 1/4" in my net, I just don't count them. They are EXTRA! Because take them out will cost me more time too.

Second reason, shrimps in this size are much stronger than larger ones actually. When in extreme condition, e.g. shipping and short of oxygen, the smaller ones can make it rather than bigger ones. They have more chance to survive than large ones.

There are 350+ cherry shrimps inside this container, they all come from one of my 10 Gallon tank.
