Description

These are beautiful, hardy, hardworking snails. They are my favorite snails for freshwater aquariums. They do not harm plants. They help eat algae and eat any leftover food in the aquarium. Their beautiful blue color sets them apart from the common brown ramshorn. They can be prolific breeders but aren't as difficult to control as trumpet snails. Baby snails are covered with blue spots in a leopard pattern and then they become solid blue as they mature. Adults can reach up to an inch or so in diameter. The snails I ship are large enough to be solid blue (so that you know what you're getting) but still not full size. This is for 10 of these awesome snails plus 2 extras just in case. Snails may be retreated into their shells and shy after having been in transit but should adjust and become active not long after being added to the tank. Shipping is $7.50 for USPS Priority (1-3 days depending on location). Priority Express 1 Day is available upon request for $27.50. Due to colder temperatures, snails will be packed in foam and shipped with a heat pack. It's possible that something may go wrong in shipping (extreme temperatures, exploding mail trucks...). Live arrival is guaranteed on the first 10 snails if you contact me within 2 hours of delivery and provide pictures of the dead snail(s) out of the shell. I will refund the cost of the dead snail(s) minus shipping.
