I only ship Mondays and Tuesdays via USPS Priority Mail(2-day, typically gets anywhere in the USA, not counting Hawaii and Alaska, within 3-4 days...don't ask me why they call it 2-day when it never gets there in two days, that's USPS for you). If any are DOA, I need a proper video of it that's a minimum of ten seconds long, need to specifically see their backs to be sure they're not sheddings and you need to poke and flick at the bag. Paypal only please, email is jamienuh@yahoo.com. Please use that to contact me for any questions as well, I cannot text anyone as I lack a cell. Shipping cost is set at $6.00 This is for five healthy baby calico crayfish/crawfish with wild genes, the very ones shown in the photos(not the adult, he is to show possible size range for adults and has been released back where I got him). The parents were wild caught. Dad is unknown, but I did see her with two males that were a lovely dark blue. I couldn't snag them, not for lack of trying(I keep trying). This doesn't mean the babies will be blue, just that there may be a chance of them carrying the genes themselves, or of them being blue. Some are lighter in color for sure and seem to be going blue, but that could be the food. They love flake foods(veggie and brine shrimp and earthworm or blackworm flakes, they go nuts for them). Dad could very well be one of the other large males I caught with her, she was berried when caught, and released soon as she was active and healthy again after popping babies. These are aggressive animals. They have a high risk of killing fish they're kept with, and destroying or damaging plants. Not recommended to be kept with fish. They have yet to harm my plants, but they will. They also eat snails, and though good at it, are not a cure for infestations, but can help. There are a few types of fish that MIGHT not get eaten(might) like white cloud minnows and rosey minnows. Small, fast dart-shaped fish are less likely to be eaten, but still may be food. Typical size range without claws is 3.5-4 inches for them, but as you can clearly see with the male(I had three males of his size and five close to it), some hit four inches or larger.
Added by the Seller on Tue Jun 23 16:23:12 2015:They'll be shipped in a 6x6x6 box, well insulated in bubblewrap. I'll send a live plant with them(likely a stem plant of some type) for them to hold onto and get oxygen. Let me know your temp for the week shipping! I sometimes take special requests, message me if you want more than is for sale and I'll let you know if I have enough of them in stock. Extra babies will be $3 each.
