Description

This auction is for 10 "Blue Velvet" shrimp plus two extras in case there is any DOA. These are Neocaridina heteropoda species. Please be sure you understand their care before purchasing. They are coming from breeding tanks held steadily at 74F degrees, pH 7.8 and a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of 300ppm. I ship primarily juveniles because they travel and acclimate the most reliably. That said, I will be sure to include at least an adult pair so you can enjoying seeing them in adult form right away.

Free USPS Priority Shipping is included. Continental US Only. Delivery confirmation will be used and a tracking number provided to you. I ship in Priority USPS Mail boxes lined with insulating styrofoam. I use Kordon breather bags with a plant cutting for the shrimp to ride on for optimum shrimp travel comfort. This time of year I do not include a heat pack automatically. If you require a heating pack, please email me in advance your reasoning. Overnight shipping is not available with this particular auction. I ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Inspect the bag thoroughly before opening. I guarantee all shipments. If your shrimp are DOA, I will replace them if you follow the instructions exactly. For replacement, the package must have been accepted on first delivery attempt. Take a photo of the bag contents with DOA visible inside before opening the bag and email it to ShangoLos@gmail.com with your update. I will replace the lost shrimp and the buyer picks up the $12 shipping to be sent via Paypal. That said, shrimp rarely die when packaged correctly and I do. I include two extra shrimp too so that even if one or two are DOA, you don't even have to bother with a claim, you are already covered. If they all survive as expected, you get a bonus of two. Everybody wins.
