Description

Now that it is getting warmer I want to start shipping these little beauties. I do not know the exact specie as they came in with my White orchids in my import from the Lakes. You will receive TWENTY +2 (22 total) when you order. These shrimp make a great introduction to keeping Sulawesi shrimp and will help cycle your tank for more exotic and advanced Sulawesi species. They peacefully coexist with the other Sulawesi varieties ad I keep them in all my colonies (cardinals, white orchids and Yellow cheeks). These are not as exotic and beautiful color wise as the other sp. but are still quite beautiful and very hardy! They also hav very interesting bright lime green eggs. Like red cherry shrimp, the females are more spotted and 'colorful'. The males tend to be quite bland with a few stripes and basically a translucent tan. I keep these in Sulawesi conditions pH 8.0 and 200-300TDS temp 80-84 degrees F. Water needs to be kept clean and changed weekly. Shrimp eat nearly all aquarium food as long as it contains NO COPPER. A small piece of moss/plant will be added so the shrimp have something to hold onto during shipping. These will be shipped in an insulated box and kordon breather bag. Two shipping options included USPS Priority 2-3 day delivery NO Guaranty for $15 or USPS Express for $35, Guaranteed live arrival on first delivery attempt only.
