Description

You are bidding on 20+ cherry red shrimp, breeding all over the place in my own tank. S/H is $6 and I use a Kordon breather bag in a foam lined box to avoid temp swings. These useful shrimp have been breeding in my 37 gallon tank until there must be 200+. I have been culling them for color, so they are a pretty respectable red. The female in the pic will be typical of what you get, though of course males are smaller and pale. Once they acclimate and get their color back after shipping, they are at their reddest when (1) there's plenty of good algae + fish food + they love squished snails, (2) the place is brightly lit, and (3) substrate is dark. I see other auctions for a bazillion shrimp, but I say don't bother. They breed so quickly that a little goes a long way. Finally, if you use CO2, fear not. I've had mystery snails and ghost shrimp in the same tank as these where the others have difficulties. RCS do not mind CO2 at all in my experience.
