Description

The freshwater yellow shrimp (Neocaridina heteropoda var. yellow) is favored for its unique, bright color and versatility. It is one of the best beginner species in the hobby - in properly maintained aquariums, the yellow shrimp can be easily kept and bred as they can acclimate to a wide range of water parameters (pH 6.5 - 7.5, 72 - 82 �F, soft or hard water). The shrimp you will receive will come from a very bright & healthy, genetically diverse stock.

The purchase of this starter kit will include:

1) 10 yellow shrimp + 2 extra to cover any DOA - shipped in Kordon breather bags with moss in fully insulated boxes via USPS Priority Mail (see note below).

2) 1 piece of cholla wood (approximately 6" long, great for any shrimp & fry habitat!)

3) 1 quarter pound of Ken's Premium Food Sticks (Mixed) - Vegetable, Vegetable with Calcium and Spirulina Sticks.

Note: Shipping & Handling will cost $12 for USPS Priority + shipping supplies. All live packages will ship out on Mondays. DOA is not covered unless express shipping is requested. Please inquire about express shipping, if interested. Heat packs available at additional charge.
