Description

Up for Auction are 25 of mixed sizes and sexes of my line of Super Red Cherry Shrimps I been breeding them for at least 5 years. My line contains 6 different stocks of Red Cherry Shrimps bred together to produce this strain. I bred them for color and health. Most of my males have deep red color on them. They are a very hardy strain of Red Cherry Shrimps. I give them 60% to 90% water changes 1 to 4 times a week with straight NYC Tap Water . I never use any water conditioner/de-chlorinater ever. I don't adjust the temp when I change water. There is no heater in the tank nor do I own a air conditioner. Water has gone up to 96 degrees in the summer and 65 degrees in the winter. I have some of this strain in my tanks on the windowsills temps have to get into the 50's and they still live with no ill effects. I feed them Spirulina sinking pellets from HBH, Sinking Krill pellets, Floating Koi Pellets, Canned Green Beans, Blanched Zucchin and raw extra lean ground beef. ***** I will throw in for free to the winner of the auction 2 Long Fin bristle nose plecos 3/4 of a inch to 1 inch long. They are both holding the gene for calico, a bunch of Christmas Moss for the shrimps to hold on to during shipment, 2 leafs or small plants of "Lance leaf" Java fern to start your own plants. If you like some scuds to start your own colony. Ask me and I will throw you some free scuds too. !!!!! Just to let all know this maybe the last auction of Cherry Shrimp for awhile. I just got another order for 50 and I also sold about another 175 over the last month so I don't think I will have any more after this auction over for some months.
