Up for sale is 1 Marbled Crayfish (aka a Marmorkreb). These are self-cloning crayfish! Once a month or so, these crayfish get berried all on their own via parthogenesis. The fry can be used as an excellent source of live food for lizards, amphibians, fish, etc. Alternatively, they make fantastic pets in their own right. They are mostly brown with blue around the edges. Each time they molt, the amount of blue varies slightly, but its always there.
This auction is for ONE (1) adult crayfish. More are available at the same price. Shipping is $8.00 (3 day priority) for up to 3 crays, for 3+ shipping jumps to $12 as I have to use a larger box. Live on Arrival guarantee with a photograph of the unopened bag. Theyll be shipped in a Styrofoam insulated box in a breather bag.
Lots of marble crayfish fry available as well (over 100 currently), theyve been through 1 molt, about 3/8 to . Email for pricing and information on combined shipping with my other auctions. I actually am down to two of these guys and am looking to sell them off as a package deal. getting married, moving, can't handle this many tanks. Some day!
Tail out: Tail in: Heres a short video of them being unhappy in the photo booth: Babies:
