These are Sweet! Marmorkrebs, or marbled crayfish are an amazing Cray Fish.
This auction is for Three of these ladies! I know they will all be females because there are no male Marbled Cray fish! Thats right!
Marmorkrebs are the only known decapod crustaceans to reproduce by parthenogenesis. All individuals are female, and the offspring are genetically identical to the parent. Because Marmorkrebs are genetically identical, easy to care for, and reproduce at high rates, but it takes some time (over a year) before they start to reproduce.
There is not much more to say than that. I'm going to send you ones that are around 6 months old and between one inch and two. Adults top out at around 4. You are going to love them. I hand feed my Mom! Toss them in a well planted 10 and you will have Happy Marbled Crays. The auction is for TWO but you will receive THREE to cover the less than 1% chance that you get a DOA.
