Folks, as some of you have noticed, I'm selling all of my stuff and moving across the country. That means GREAT deals for you! This auction is for those of you who: The BEST ASSASSIN SNAIL AUCTION EVER!
a)Have a TON of snails and just want them GONE
b)Want to try something different that NO LFS around you likely has
c)Realize that these are easy to keep/breed and you can sell them locally all day long to Local Fish Stores or friends in the hobby - a Gift to yourself that keeps on giving!
So here's the deal: You will get at LEAST 30 of these, with about 28 of them breeder sized adults. It is possible that there are more, they tend to hide in the substrate and jump out!
Here's an even cooler part: You get an arrangement of plants: Java Fern, Anubias, Nanjas Grass, and a big ball of algae that has... TONS OF SNAIL EGGS all over them!!! The Assassin snails' eggs resemble tiny shark eggs and there is one little white spec which is the egg. There are a bunch. Even though these plants are in the "best" shape (as in being in a high-tech CO2 tank) they are decent and will keep growing. The snails prefer to lay eggs on rigid plants like anubias and java fern roots but will grow on everything. These plants HAVE to go with the snails.. why? Because I'll be selling plants like mad over the next couple of weeks, and well I'd feel bad if someone bought some plants and some baby snails killed their favorite Nerite or other snails... So I cannot guarantee any baby snails, but I've had a lot.. so why wouldn't you? These are a fun added bonus. The new snails are TINY and you wont' see them when they hatch but suddenly they'll start popping out everywhere when you feed them or put some snails for them to eat.
Folks here's the deal with these guys. They don't over populate your tank... and they don't ONLY eat snails. I usually feed mine a couple of shrimp pellets every other day. They are FAST (for snails) and fly out of the substrate to eat. They are NON-Aggressive and will not attack live fish/shrimp/etc.
***Note: PLEASE do Not Place these in with ANY snails that you enjoy.. even huge ones.. they have been known to kill/eat any snails so don't risk it.

Live Arrival Guaranteed, I will refund you a portion for each snail that is DOA.
Cost: $10.00 For Priority Mail in my famous homemade packages (read my reviews!)
Added by the Seller on Thu Jul 8 01:09:05 2010:***Just to clarify the DOA policy, I am guaranteeing you at least 30 live A. Helena Killer Snails, if I send you 32, and 2 are dead, that still means I held up my end of the sale. Just wanted to make sure we were clear :).
Added by the Seller on Thu Jul 8 16:35:02 2010:
***Found a typo - Sorry I was excited when I was writing this auction - It should read "Even though the plants AREN'T in the best shape... " The plants are not bad but not as full and brilliant as if they were kept in my HO T5 Hi-tech tank. Sorry for the confusion...
