Description

4 young pairs of nebula steel guppies. I visit with Pete Mang about once a week to talk fish. He still works with nebula steels and they are stunning. A while back Pete gifted me some to work with. Pete developed this strain of fish with the intent of consistently producing a variety(color)of high quality fish. These are what I would describe as 2nd generation nebula steels. I think nebula steels started with Mang's super cross guppies. From there he developed the 1st generation of nebula steels. They were very metallic fish, with variegated bodies and a variety of caudal colors producing both delta tail and half moon tailed fish. He then made a cross to a half moon tailed fish that produced what I would describe as 2nd generation nebula steels. They are metallic bodied fish but not typically variegated. They produce a variety of caudal colors but produce mostly half moon tailed fish. The fish you are bidding on are all from the same clutch of fry born 1/1/20. It will include a light blue variegated male, a dark blue male, a red variegated male and a black male. All are of the half moon variety. The entire batch of fry produced half moons and there were some albino as well. I will include 4 females from the same clutch that were kept with these males. The fish pictured are the fish you are getting. Shipping is $20 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. This auction will ship Tuesday 3/31, so payment is due at the close of the auction on Monday 3/30. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction.
