Description

Here we have a vibrant guppy with a red and yellow mosaic pattern in their tail. They have the large dumbo pectoral fins. Males have a dark body with a bright red and yellow mosaic pattern in their tail. Females have the standard guppy color body with a large yellow mosaic tail.

The guppy is one fish that has been in the aquarium hobby for a very long time. As a result they have adjusted to many types of water around the globe. They will make an attractive and active addition to your aquarium. In my experience, this line tends to not cannibalize their young. I keep them well fed and keep the females with the rest of the herd. The majority of the fry, kept with guppy grass in the tank, survive just fine along side the rest of them.

Common Name: Mosaic Guppy

Scientific Name: Poecilia reticulata

Size: 1-2 in

Temperature: 68-78F

pH: 6.8-7.8

TDS: 200-500+ ppm

Shipping is $15 for USPS Priority Mail. These typically arrive in 2-3 days, which is good for most things. If you would like other shipping options, contact me before the auction closes for a quote. Also, during extreme hot or cold weather, it is strongly advised to have the package held at the post office for you to pick up. This way they are in a heated/air conditioned post office and not on a mail truck for hours and hours during this kind of weather. Just let me know and I'll be happy to do this for you and the animals.
