For your consideration: 5 young females.
My fish are neither random mutts nor intensively inbred purebloods, but something in-between: the progeny of carefully selected sires and dams from my pre-culled population of diverse strains. Bidding starts at little more than what my local fish store pays me for my culls. These auction guys/gals are fish I would keep and breed if I had the space, but I don’t because I’m having new fry drops every time I turn around, and nearly 100% survive to adulthood. Why? Hybrid vigor, and years of (mostly) letting nature take its course. I exercise good husbandry with knowledge gleaned from gracious breeder literature and from my education as a biologist. But stuff happens, am I right? I have seen my share of disease and made my share of “oops” mistakes. Fish died. Those who could handle the threats lived, and luckily most of them were beautiful enough to bring us the lovely specimens you see here. One other thing: my fish never, ever, eat fry, not even when left unfed for 5-6 days. So please, breed these guys and gals together or with your own stock, and send me photos of the stunning offspring you are sure to wind up with.
For auction 5 young females including:
2 guaranteed virgins, reproductively mature but not full sized (will likely get as big or bigger than largest female included).
1 mammoth female, very likely prehit by either “Man in the Mirror” (see him in other sale), or a gorgeous purple snakeskin male with huge delta tail and long dorsal.
2 other young females, probably virgins but may be prehit by a young purple/yellow snake patterned male that leapt over the barrier. Little whippersnapper!
See my guppy pair sales to get an idea of the males these girls are related to. I will pick a nice variety of females for you.
Add on pairs from my other sales. Of course I'll combine shipping!
Let me know if you'd like ramshown snails and/or a microworm starter culture and I'll throw them in for free.
