These are a beautiful strain of 'wild type' guppy, and one of my favorites. The males are a vivid neon blue in the light with some black or orange markings. Females are generally colorless but may have a slight blue shine in certain light. This line came from a breeder here on Aquabid, and have always been very healthy, hearty fish. They do not eat their young, and it is sometimes a little shocking to see small 'clouds' of fry swimming along side the adults with no predation problems. The Japan Blues love to show off, and it is quite a sight to see the males 'flashing' their color and fins to other males or strutting around to impress the females. They are very quiet fish and get along well with other fish and invertebrates, like snails and shrimp. This auction is for three young pairs, the females are most likely pre-hit, and I will include at least six (6) fry. I try to always include 'extras', so you will get more fish than what you bid on.
